We are after the premiere of Przemysław Pilarski’s “Wild East” directed by Jan Jerzy Połoński.

The piece, however, is not a chronicler’s story “based on facts”. Wild East is a literary fantasy. Because – as its author says – art is art. With this text I wanted to try to restore the memory that has been obliterated over the years. But also ask questions. Not for those times and not for those people. About the man. Who is good, who is bad? Who is the victim and who is the persecutor? Who is defending and who is attacking?

This is probably the most important thing in the Wild East. Nobody here asks about the legitimacy of brutality, because it is understandable, and never shies away, paying tribute to political correctness. Pilarski and Połoński learned the lesson of Tarantino’s uncompromising attitude, but imbued “The Wild East” with their own emotions, made it their own way, playing with the theater. The performance also allows you to appreciate the Gliwice acting team, because the protagonists are at the front, but everyone is here in their place. […]
This performance is a real test for the entire team. It shows that he is ready even for extreme tasks.
