We are after the premiere of Emil Płoszajski’s ‘Myths, or How I Became Heracles’ directed by Agnieszka Płoszajska.
Adam Niezgódka, whom we remember from the pages of Jan Brzechwa’s novel, returns to Mr. Kleks’ Academy after thirty years. The adult alumnus must face the Great Electron, who, through modern technologies, threatens the world of children’s imagination and kidnaps Adam’s daughter. Will the father be able to save her? With the help of old friends, can he find Mr. Kleks, the only one who knows how to defeat the Electron? The performance, inspired by the iconic 1980s film about Ambroży Kleks, is created with the involvement of children recruited by director Agnieszka Płoszajska. Making their debut on stage alongside adult actors from the Gliwice theater are Milena Cebula, Aleksandra Dudka, and Zofia Lubina, Roch Idziaczyk, Antoni Piszczek, and Miłosz Roztropowicz.
